      Currently, a considerable proportion of ship pipelines in my country utilize powder coating, and the development momentum is strong.  With the continuous improvement of powder coating technology, its development prospects are very broad. Powder coating for pipelines is a new type of coating that is completely solvent-free, applied in powder form, and then melted to form a film. 

III. The largest demand sector for powder coatings: Automotive powder coatings   

      Powder coatings for automobiles include epoxy-hybrid, polyester, polyurethane, and other types. The application of powder coatings in the automotive industry began in the late 1990s with successful application on some automotive parts.  With the continuous improvement of technology and the enhanced performance of powder coatings, they can now fully meet the various requirements of passenger cars, such as appearance, weather resistance, chemical resistance, scratch resistance, and UV resistance.   

      Currently, domestic powder coatings are mainly used in the automotive industry for coating parts such as car bodies, chassis, wheels, control levers, rearview mirrors, windshield wipers, and horns. Due to technological limitations, current automotive powder coatings are only available in single-color series, such as primers and clear coats.       The gradual increase in the growth index of pure polyester powder coatings for outdoor use in my country in recent years fully demonstrates the market's development potential. However, with the widespread use of outdoor powder coatings, there has been an increase in consumer complaints about powder coating products, mainly focusing on issues such as weather resistance, alkali resistance, and water resistance. This requires domestic powder coating manufacturers to pay close attention to these issues.
